DIY Painted House Number Brick

Today's DIY painted house number project was inspired by my boring and uninviting front porch that was in need of some attention. This has been a problem for quite some time now, so yesterday, I headed on over to Wal-Mart and bought a few inexpensive plants, some cheap flower pots, and got to work. This is the easiest project you will probably ever undertake. So easy, you hardly need instructions.

SUPPLIES
Black fast-drying spray paint
Silver or gold metallic marker
Old cardboard
Pencil
Cement Brick
Flower Pot (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Spray paint your item of choice - brick and/or flowerpot - on your cardboard.
2. After it's dry, write your numbers or words on it with pencil, then trace with your marker.
3. Display it proudly, because you're done!

My finished painted brick house number sits on my porch table, and my painted flower pot adorns the kitchen table inside. I am seriously loving all the fresh greenery in my home.
